I was a shaman's apprentice for 20 years (Not a weekend workshop), I lived with him and others in an intentional community. He was a trained and licensed psychologist, a Mystic Taoist, and a teacher of Zen. It was not a cult in any sense of the word. He had me write out what he taught and what we experienced, gave it all a name, and sent his students into the world to make it a better place. .
